Monty Python alum Michael Palin visits the original locations of famous Python sketches 30-years later. Some of the people now living in these locations don’t seem familiar with Python much at all while others are seem to know every detail.

I think I got roughly 75% of the references, which isn’t too bad, considering I don’t watch much TV anymore.
This is a wonderful little TV commercial for the Chevrolet Traverse.
Wow, this came across my screen today and brought back some old memories. I remember when this aired on TV, it was strongly urged that parents speak to their children after the show and what it meant. I just wonder what I thought during this three minute segment of nuclear overkill, all mixed with horrible special effects and stock footage of military nuclear test films. This certainly harks back to a completely different time. Although today’s big scary thing is terrorism and I’m sure 30 years from now we’ll be looking at cheap and horrible films of today.
What confuses me about this clip though is how Jason Robards isn’t incinerated like all the others that appeared to be just as far away from the blast as he was. Perhaps a perk of the Hollywood elite.
Now this is odd. This seems very un-Hunter S. Thompson. But what do I know…
