Cartoon Map of Europe In 1914 From The German Perspective
Each actor in a major armed conflict sees the world differently than the others and this map from 1914 is no exception. This maps shows the German perspective after the outbreak of World War 1. Germany obviously, throughout history, has felt the breath of Russia breathing down its nick, as depicted in this map. The map is part of the collection at the Berlin State Library and currently on display there.
