Apollo 11 Saturn V Launch Close Up In Slow Motion

On July 16, 1969, a Saturn V rocket carrying the Apollo 11 crew to the moon took off from launch pad 39A at Florida’s Kennedy Space Center. Attached to one of the launch pad’s towers was camera E-8 allowing NASA to monitor the rocket’s engines and other parts. The video from that launch is seen here in slow motion. Perhaps turn off the sound and put on ‘The Dark Side of the Moon’ for added effect.
